Content Moderation Policy
Last updated: May 7, 2026
This Content Moderation Policy explains how AE Labs Inc. ("we", "us" or "our") reviews, removes, and restricts Content throughout webPunk. We aim to be as transparent as possible while complying with legal obligations and preserving your rights.
Thank you for helping us keep webPunk a safe space.
This Content Moderation Policy is part and parcel of our Terms of Service and terms used in this Disclaimer are used with the same meaning as in our Terms of Service.
General Principles
We believe in freedom of expression and do not moderate or remove Content unless:
- it violates our Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
- it is required to be removed under applicable law; or
- it poses a legitimate risk to user safety or platform integrity.
Feed ordering may reflect your connections on webPunk and whether you have already viewed a post; we do not operate traditional feed ads based on your Personal Data. Aside from that, we generally moderate Content when it is reported, poses safety risk, or is required by law—not because of a separate paid visibility product.
Types of Moderation
Manual moderation is used for reported Content and certain high-risk situations. We do not pre-screen all Content.
Grounds for Removal or Restriction
Content may be removed or restricted if it:
- involves threats, harassment, hate speech, or violence;
- violates intellectual property rights;
- involves minors in any inappropriate context;
- constitutes misinformation that could cause real-world harm;
- violates applicable law or court orders;
- attempts to bypass technical safeguards or manipulate platform behavior;
- attempts to misuse encryption or decentralized technologies to conceal harmful activity.
User Reports
You can report Content by contacting us at support@ael.org. Reports are reviewed in good faith by us. Not all reports will result in action.
Notice to Affected Users
If your Content is removed or restricted:
- you will typically be notified via email or in-app message;
- you will be given a general reason for the action taken;
- you may appeal the decision (see below).
In urgent cases or where legally required, we may act without prior notice.
Appeals Process
If you believe a moderation decision was incorrect, you may request a review by contacting us at support@ael.org.
Law Enforcement and Legal Requests
We will comply with legitimate legal requests to remove or restrict Content, including:
- court orders;
- notices under applicable content laws;
- law enforcement take-down demands.
