Delete your account

Delete it in the app

Open the webPunk app, then go to Settings → Account → Danger zone and choose delete account. Nothing else is needed.

Delete it here, without the app

1. Sign in below with your webPunk email.
2. If you have a subscription that renews, cancel it with Apple, Google or Stripe first. Deleting your account does not cancel it.
3. Type your username to confirm, then choose delete my account.

Cannot sign in?

Email support@ael.org from the email address of the account, with the subject "Delete my account". We delete it for you and reply within one month.

What is deleted

• your profile, username, avatar and webPunk ID access;
• your posts, comments, likes, messages and stars, your friends and blocks, and your hub, map and game data;
• the pictures, videos, voice notes and other media you uploaded or generated, which are removed from storage shortly after;
• your push tokens, Live Activities and the device records tied to your account;
• your login and email at our sign-in provider, and your usage history at our analytics and subscription providers.

Deletion starts at once. Cleanup at our providers is retried until it completes.

What we keep

• purchase and transaction records, for as long as tax and accounting law require;
• anything recorded on a public blockchain, which no one can change or delete;
• safety and abuse records, for as long as needed to keep people safe and to meet legal duties;
• crash reports, which carry only an account identifier and are removed by our crash reporting provider after a limited period;
• copies in backups, which are overwritten within a limited period.
